Dr. Nicholas Fluitt is a board-certified physician in psychiatry and addiction medicine with extensive experience treating adults experiencing depression, anxiety and worry, panic, trauma, life transitions, and addiction.
Dr. Fluitt received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He remained in New Orleans for his four-year psychiatry residency training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive psychiatric care.
Following residency, Dr. Fluitt became board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. His approach emphasizes thoughtful, individualized treatment and collaboration with other healthcare providers when appropriate, with the goal of helping patients improve both their mental health and overall well-being.
Élan Psychiatry was established in 2019 to provide high quality psychiatric care for individuals who value discretion, efficiency, and thoughtful longitudinal care.
Dr. Fluitt is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
